Normally on Wednesdays Alson doesn't go to childcare. A scene from this morning while I was dressing him up.

Me: Alson you need to get ready cos I have to go to uni today

Alson: y? What do you do at uni?

Me: all sorts of things. Study and enjoy with friends

Alson: do you have toys?

Me: no, not toys for kids but yes, we have things for grown ups

Alson: what is it?

Me: we have coffee shops, grown ups like to sit and talk eat other and drink tea

Alson (nods): oh okay

I go to uni - after few hours Alson and his dad comes to pick me

Alson: mommy, did you have a good day at uni?

Me: (startled) ah, yes, I did

Alson: did u enjoy? Have fun with friends?

Me: yes, I did. Thank you

It was only later I realised that the roles did change today. Normally it was me who asked what he did in the class, stories he read and about friends in the morning. And when he comes home ask about his day. He used the same words/phrases from me.
